STEP INTO THE NEW… NEW… NEW!!

Years ago, I was introduced the Hebrew calendar. That was about 20 years ago, and it never ceases to amaze me how the meaning of the Hebrew months often coincides with the events in my personal life. You see, as I pay more attention to God’s times and seasons, the more my life makes sense. We only use Hebrew calendars in my house, the ones that overlap with the Gregorian calendar. It’s been so helpful and extremely instrumental in tethering me to God’s will and direction for my life.

Why am I sharing this? Towards the end of 2023, God started to prepare me, and make provision for me, to relaunch my business. Backstory - I had taken a break back in August 2022 under His direction. I didn’t understand why until much later. But what I can say is, I definitely enjoyed myself on the break. He knows what we need better than we do. In the Fall of 2023, He instructed me to get mentally prepared. He was going to be shifting me out of rest and back into production with my business. I was to prepare for a “Comeback.” He kept saying, “All things new!”

In February 2024, I received the green light to officially get to work. There was a ton of work to do! For about 9 months, I was in a state of creating and producing. I hit an unexpected roadblock at the end of 2024 and had to wait until it resolved itself, as it was out of my control. Thankfully, by the end of December 2024, I was cleared to wrap up the final tasks. As I crossed into the new year, I was puzzled. I still wasn’t clear on the official relaunch date so I began to ask God for direction. Around mid-January, a new realization hit me - God started to connect some dots. The key was in that Hebrew calendar. I looked at the calendar in my office and saw the shaded date which marked the start of the new Hebrew month. SH’VAT! Sh’vat was scheduled to begin at sundown on January 29th and would run through February 28th. Something in my spirit knew Holy Spirit was highlighting that timeframe. On a hunch, I looked up the meaning of the month of Sh’vat.

Now this is only a small snippet on the significance of Sh’vat. It’s the part that really moved me as I read about it:

This is the month the almond tree begins to blossom in Israel. In Israel, the month of Sh’vat kicks off their Spring season and represents new life breaking forth! A time of newness, a time of manifest rewards, and new beginnings!

Wow! New, new and more NEW! All things new! I love it! I was hit with such a wave of excitement as I continued to read about Sh’vat.

So, what have you been working on behind the scenes? What have you been mulling over? What mission have you been pregnant with? Could this also be your season to launch, kick-off, give birth to and deliver? You may feel like you missed the boat because January 1st has come and gone. You may feel like the New Year’s Resolution ship has sailed. Maybe you’re experiencing “analysis paralysis”, so many ideas and too overwhelmed to execute on one. The enemy may already be tempting you to feel like a failure, trying to get you to entertain negative self-talk. However, I’m here to tell you…

a new season is upon you, RIGHT NOW!!

What are you going to do about it? This is a second chance. I’ve learned to never take those for granted. Give yourself permission to bloom!

Some endeavors take a lot of time to set into motion. For example, my business relaunch. I had to prepare new business logos, new book covers for both of my books, I had to completely makeover the interior layouts for the 2nd edition release, I created a brand-new website – thanks for visiting by the way! ;) Bellevue Life Coaching has brand new service offerings and a completely new merchandise line is on its way! I needed to have professional photos and headshots taken. I was very much aware that in this next season, all my selfies weren’t going to cut it. LOL. It was time to level up. The list goes on and on as I think of all the areas that needed to be “renewed”, if you will.

God chose to rebrand Bellevue Production Co. and Bellevue Life Coaching from the inside out. “ALL THINGS NEW”, He said. It was a lot of work, and it took a lot of time. There was a major learning curve! I had to learn many new skills along the way, and I was pushed beyond my comfort zone several times. You see, He wouldn’t allow me to relaunch the same way I launched back in 2020. All things new. And some of you will notice God is having you do many things in a new way, not using the same resources or routes as before. When all is said and done, I can honestly say it was worth all the effort. I’m grateful for His guidance and I’m extremely pleased with the results. Out with the old, in with the new!

Now keep in mind, some things don’t require an entire year to prepare. My process won’t necessarily be your process. For some of you, He’s simply inviting you to take that first new step of obedience towards what He’s asked you to do. Apply for that business license. Write the first (or next) chapter of that book. Walk into that gym and just purchase the membership. Pick up the phone and officially make that appointment. Start that blog and share your testimony. Return that phone call or email to set things in motion. Call that therapist and make the first appointment. Find a new doctor. Update your resume. Leave that place/person He told you to remove yourself from. Fill out the application. Or officially make that 1st life coaching appointment - I can certainly help you out with that one. :)

We’re human. Sometimes we’re going to miss that window of opportunity. However, repeatedly doing so is a pattern that needs to be addressed. Most importantly, it’s a pattern that’s robbing you of fully actualizing your purpose on this earth, making the impact He needs you to, and living the quality of life you deeply desire. Choose to trust that He’s leading you to a place you will actually love and enjoy!

There are times God will not release new instructions until you’ve obeyed the last one He gave you. There are times He won’t release certain blessings until you’ve proven to be a good steward of what He’s already put in your hands. I refuse to miss out on any of my blessings and I pray you would take up that same position and mindset as well.

I was just sharing with a friend the other day about one of the relaunch tasks I was dreading the most. I’ll be transparent and share. I avoided it for 6 long months, pushing it to the end of the task list. It was all because I believed it was going to be THE MOST tedious task. In my mind, it was going to be absolutely terrible and a complete time suck. Well, my task list dwindled down. And in January, I felt the sense of urgency to wrap things up! Finally, I started the task, hit a snag, got frustrated, and I almost paid someone $200+ to completely take it off my hands and handle it for me. I just didn’t FEEL like doing it. Be careful allowing exaggerated emotions to run your life. It doesn’t end well.

Upon further examination, I thought to myself, “Okay Cassandra. Just try it again. One small piece at a time. Don’t get overwhelmed.” Do you know in the end this final task cost me only $8 to correct the issue on my own! And here’s the clencher! From the time I sat down with my $8 fix, to the time I completed everything … it took an hour, maybe an hour and a half. I was SHOCKED! I also learned - or relearned - a valuable lesson. The value of not quitting and simply taking things one step at a time.
